Puzzle cube
All pieces were milled out of brass and then brought to final size using hand files. The pieces only fit together on way due to the small differences in their size and shape.
Mechanical Iris
Machined brass with a hand brushed finish. Twisting the outer ring opens and closes the Iris
Polishing Frog
This is a traditional watchmaking tool for polishing small parts. All components are hand made. The external shape was cut with a jewelers saw and shaped with a needle file. A hand cut and polished chamfer stands out against the brushed finish.
Mechanical Waterdrop
This is a kinetic sculpture designed to simulate a single drop falling into a pool of water.
